This page may help you decide whether a hot tub hire is suitable for you, or indeed if your location is appropriate.
We have tried to pre-empt and answer as many questions as we can.
If there is anything else that you would like to know, or if there is something that you think we should include, please feel free to contact us via any of the available methods on the contact us page.
Q. Can you get an ESN Ltd. hot tub into my garden?
A. ESN Ltd use Intex PureSpa six seater inflatable hot tubs which will fit down most garden paths, through garages and in some cases we have carried the deflated tub through the house although we are conscious of damaging any customer property.
Q. How Much space do I need to locate an ESN Hot Tub?
A. We recommend 2.5m x 2.5m with our without a Gazebo.
Q. What type of ground can it be sited on?
A. Decking if suitably supported, any level and flat patio area, grass, although the tub will leave a circular mark on any grassed area which may take months to recover.
Please note: We do not advise that the tub be sited on gravel, shale or loose stones because of the risk of puncture.
Q. Do I need an outside tap?
A. It is preferable but not essential, an adaptor may work from an indoor tap or water supply.
Q. Do I need an outside electricity point?
A. Again this is not essential, however there are some considerations here.
Q. What are the running costs?
A. This is a contentious issue, because it depends on the tariff of the individual and the amount of usage. Through personal experience we estimate costs to be around or under the £20 per week mark. However, we have no control over this and this figure is not meant to be an accurate estimate.
Q. What happens if I have to cancel at short notice?
A. Each individual case will be treated on its own merit, but ESN Ltd. reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee or retain any payments made, if cancellation is less than 14 days before delivery.
Q. What are my liabilities if equipment is damaged?
A. Again, each case will be judged on merit and if damage to our equipment is deemed to be caused by negligence or failure to follow our instructions ESN Ltd. will reserve the right to charge the customer for replacements at market value on a new for old basis.
Q. I have a hot water supply, can I use this instead of cold?
A. Yes, within certain parameters, it is not advisable to fill a hot tub directly with hot water as it may cause damage, however if the tub is filled to a depth of 5cm with cold water first, it is possible to use a hot water supply on top of that.
